Hey everyone,
this one's been on our radar for a long time, and we're glad to say it's finally fixed.
We rebuilt Crafts from the ground up to handle exactly the kind of complex outputs that were breaking before. No more code cutting off mid-function, no more silent truncation, no more half-finished components. We're truly sorry for the trouble this caused, we know it was frustrating.
Full details on what changed and what you can build now: https://merlin-ai.canny.io/changelog/we-fixed-the-thing-that-kept-breaking-your-code
Give it a try and let us know how it goes. If you run into any further issues, send us an email at support@getmerlin.in with a screenshot of the issue and we'll get it sorted for you.
Thank you!

Hello everyone, I have found a somewhat viable workaround to this issue until the further update comes into being, you can cut crafts into manageable chunks of direct code text.
Note:
A warning note though this does consume a decent quantity of usage for exceptionally long amounts, and the AI chatbots memory has some inconsistencies and may occasionally ask the user for more information about what your creating if it loses track.
However the workaround is still possible to partially extend the coding limit if you are willing to use notepad or other forms of compiling code software such as a separate chatbot interface, free plans function fine. If its an html, asking the chatbot to run 100-500 full code lines portion by portion can be effective, its my bootleg solution anyway, the following prompt and instructions for chatbot & users are below(Feel free to edit it to your liking, I know my prompt isn't perfect but hopefully it kickstarts the process for you:)
Universal Craft Panel Solution (500 line strategy)
"Because the craft panel is currently limited in consistent functionality; generate 500 lines by the hand fully complete, Then, I will send "continue" so you can send the next 500 lines, which should be fully prepared to be merged together with this specific sequence: Open notepad => Cntrl + V, (Your 500 lines), Enter, Cntrl + V (Your 500 lines), Enter. This will repeat until your coding generation is complete. DO not create a craft unless prompted to do so."
USER PANEL ONLY (AI ignore this portion)
First Method:
open Notepad
Copy/paste/Enter accessibility - keep track of your code
After every chatbot's 500 line code piece, saying "continue" will prompt the AI to move onto the next coding portion.
Second Method:
Another AI website that can compile the code for you if you do not want to use notepad or self-compile the code. - keep track of your code
claude - recommended
ChatGPT - solid structure
Gemini - solid structure
USER example prompt
Example Lines: "(Insert the code you got from Merlin)" I have 1,500 lines of code, Do not replace the core functionality of this code but compile it into a proper product and troubleshoot any lingering errors."

Doesn't work at all

Does not display files. Your solution is terrible and doesn't work. It shows the game that is on the screen and nothing more. An ultra raw solution. What did I give the money for? I don't recommend a subscription to buy...

Memory not working. Craft tool fails too many times
M
Micheal Jackson
I've been using Merlin Pro for 2 months, and there's 2 big issues with it now:
- Craft tool failed too many times. When I asked Merlin for a specific task, to create a page, a website, craft tool failed a lot, and I have to retry many times -> waste of usage
- Memory for Merlin to remember me in Setting -> Personalization, does not work. There's nothing Merlin get from chatting for 2 months. I did try tell Merlin to remember me, like: "I like milked coffee", but nothing appeared in Memory.

The application is getting
Sandeep Yadav
Plenty of time getting the error below. This happens when the application tries to generate a long HTML document & I think it crashes.

Crafts left unfinished
Santiago Gomez
Using the latest models of Claude 4.6 Sonnet or Opus, get always stuck on the final part of the process which leaves the craft eternally unfinished. Sometimes, after another prompt indicating that the craft was not finished it might success ( yet, on my latest chat it could not generate anything), but this is not optimal as the user ends up using more credits.
