Appsumo's misleading lifetime offer, Merlin's misleading credit extension offer

I purchased Get Merlin on a lifetime offer from appsumo, totally unlimited according to tier 3. I used my 12,000 credits well, but with use, they recommended extending the monthly credit to an unlimited plan under a monthly offer (Offer because I already had the lifetime plan). So, by having the lifetime plan, the unlimited plan was cheaper. I used it for 2 months and everything was fine. I no longer need the unlimited plan. I wanted to cancel it, and it said I would be left without any plan (something I don't understand if I already had the lifetime plan). Now Merlin has left me without my lifetime plan. I am completely without a plan. It seems like a mockery to the customer.
Please reinstate the plan that was paid for for life. It was never indicated that by purchasing the unlimited extension I would lose the lifetime plan, since it gave me a special offer to keep the unlimited plan + almost unlimited monthly credits.

The same thing will happen to me, I'm sure, they won't let me recover my previously contracted level in APP Sumo. It was a big scam. While they were there it seems that the models they were using were good, now they don't correspond to what they say even as a joke.

Hi Merlin Team, I need to hear the outcome. My understanding is hat the unltd plan was an add-on. The fact the pop-up said it was an add-on that I could cancel anytime. Please confirm that if I cancel unltd that I do not lose my LTD. BTW I have no intention of cancelling my unlimited add-on at present but would like to understand my position for the future. Thanks so much.

I would certainly love to hear from the Merlin team. As an AppSumo Tier 1 customer and now Pro subscriber, I'd love to know where I stand too. I've requested in another ticket to have my Tier 1 credits added monthly to my Pro credits. I couldn't imagine my Tier 1 investment going away if I no longer am a Pro subscriber. Hopefully we can get some good news soon.
