Cross Connect Project Folders
Enable users to connect multiple projects so that the AI assistant in one project can access and reference information from linked projects - including files, chat history, and accumulated knowledge. Example Use Case Scenario: Managing marketing strategy and social media execution Project Setup: Project 1: Marketing Strategy Development (brand positioning, campaign themes, target audiences, messaging frameworks) Project 2: Social Media Captions & Campaigns (daily posts, ad copy, campaign execution) Current State (Isolated Projects): You develop a Q1 campaign strategy around "sustainability leadership" in your Marketing Strategy project. When you jump to your Social Media project to create captions, the AI has no idea about this strategic direction. You have to manually explain the campaign theme, paste in messaging guidelines, or duplicate strategy documents. With Cross-Connection: Your Social Media project automatically knows about the sustainability campaign strategy. When you ask it to "create this week's Instagram captions," it references your strategic positioning, brand voice guidelines, and campaign objectives from the Marketing Strategy project - creating content that's perfectly aligned without you having to repeat yourself. Conversely, when planning your next campaign in the Marketing Strategy project, the AI can reference what's actually performing well in the Social Media project (popular posts, engagement patterns, messaging that resonated) to inform strategic decisions. Result: Strategy informs execution. Execution insights feed back into strategy. No manual bridging required.

Enhanced HTML Craft Sharing with Customizable Links
Hey Merlin team, I’ve been using your HTML craft feature a lot, and I absolutely love how it lets me create and share cool, interactive content without needing to own a website. It’s such a game-changer for quickly getting information out there in a visual, engaging way. I’ve got an idea, though, to make the sharing part even better. Right now, the links for these crafts are kind of generic and hard to recognize. I think it’d be amazing if we could customize them a bit. Imagine being able to set a memorable URL, like “ crafts.getmerlin.in/shared/my-page” instead of a random string of characters. It’d make it so much easier to remember and share. Also, what if we could tweak how the link looks when shared on social media or messaging apps? Like adding a custom title, description, or even a thumbnail image to make it stand out. I’d also love a way to manage all my shared links in one place. Maybe a dashboard where I can see everything I’ve created, rename them, or check how many people have viewed them. Adding options like password protection for private stuff, expiration dates for temporary shares, or even a bit of branding on the sharing page would make this feel so professional. It’d be perfect for things like presentations, portfolios, or even quick event pages. I think these tweaks could make the craft feature even more useful and encourage more people to use it regularly. It’d turn Merlin into a go-to for creating and sharing content that looks polished and feels personal. Thanks for taking the time to read this—I’m really excited about what this feature could become, and I hope you consider these ideas!

Goodbye Merlin, at least for now
When I first heard about Merlin, I was so excited. A platform that we can use all the models? And keep updating? Holy! That was like a life-changing experience for me. I bought a year pro version without thinking. The early days were decent. The answers of the models do satisfy me, using is easy, the project feature is awesome when you can use with different models. Then... things changed, I guess. First, the agentic flow. Sometimes the model just go around in circles and stopped. No feedback, no answers, nothing. Sometimes it keeps thinking for a while until it told me that my connection had a problem and asked me to tried again. Not even to mention the daily and monthly limits. At least from my own calculation, the credits I got a month are nowhere near the "promised" level. But... I keep an account here, still topped up, still tried to tell myself it's gonna get better. Well, until yesterday. The model suddenly crafted a landing page for my profile without being asked, and our conversation is nowhere near anything related to coding. When I ask it again, the same outcome happened. I continued the conversation, asking why it did that way. And... it said it even didn't remember doing that. That final straw really exhausted my intention to continue the conversation, and using Merlin in general. Now I migrated to the native websites and models that I normally used, cleaned up the vault and projects. That said, my subscription is still until Jan 26 with 2000 credits. I don't think I'll use Merlin anytime soon, but still keep it there.
