Better communicate plan changes, better yet, try being honest?

Such poor communication: Stop switching plans and terms in the middle of plans. I can't believe more people aren't complaining about the shady business practices. First I bought LTD plan, your poor business model sucked so you convinced to buy up to Unlimited plan, that poor business model sucked so now you're limiting daily and monthly plan usage. Please for the love of humanity cut out your shady business practices hiding behind Fair Use. You all keep moving the goal posts... So shady.

It is now very clear that Merlin has completely dropped down the number of possible requests. I am now using Merlin for 6 months with aproximatively the same amount of requests per day. At the beginning, it was very hard hitting the 50% at the end of the month. Today, I am at 50% on my monthly limit... in just 1 week !
Of course, since they do not display tokens stock, then it is impossible to strictly prove that and Merlin team can keep being like "We've always been committed to bringing you the very best in artificial intelligence services, with the noble aim of democratizing these tools and making them available to as many people as possible. As you know, with great power comes great responsibility, and we're sure you'll understand the value of our FAIR policy, so that the whole community can benefit from Merlin and blah blah blah."

Overall, I have loved using Merlin. There is so much I get out of using it. However, I have recently had a hard time with the goal posts, as you said, changing. After loosing access for a time because of going beyond my monthly use, I have become very focused and aware of my daily and monthly credits. Here's what I just noticed just this morning. I have used Gemini 2.5 Flash and some Gemini 2.5 Pro almost exclusively during my last month. I use Merlin a lot, and still on day 28, I was at about 30% monthly usage. Well, in one day of use, I have now jumped to 8% of my monthly usage. I did use more Gemini 2.5 Pro yesterday. However, something has changed. That kind of usage previously would maybe cost about 2% of usage, not 8%. So what changed with the credit limit recently, because it appears pretty clear that something did.

Tbh a lot of people do, merlin deliberately close such threads for it to not be seen.
If you search about it in close threads you'll see a few complaining and closed immediately.
The only response they do is "ask for refund or shut up about it"
the only excuse they have is that they have to stick to earnings, not confronting the misleading "unlimited" term in their plans before.

Yume the problem is that they're deliberately trying to mitigate the damage by hiding opinions or negative feedback on this particular platform, they'll try to always catch the user on a technicality as always
Either that or just making people shut up by argumenting that we can just ask for refunds
