Hi Tai Truong and Markus, we've launched Merlin Crafts in Beta on Merlin. Enable it by clicking on Labs in the Merlin sidebar, and ask Merlin to create a mindmap, and many other diagrams!

It's still an experimental feature, so Live Search capabilities are restricted. It won't be able to take context from the Web for now, but we'll finish building it very soon! Stay tuned and please provide proper feedback if and when you encounter a bad response -- thanks!

I use XMind and SimpleMind for my mind mapping needs. It would be extremely helpful for me if I could save my ki-created mindmaps in various formats (OPML, Markdown, and ideally even .xmind files) so that I can easily import them into these programs. Additionally, having a graphical representation of mind maps created by Merlin would be fantastic. It would also be beneficial to have options for selecting the output format, the depth of the branching, how many details are included, and adjustable sliders to fine-tune these settings on the mind maps.

The ultimate feature would be a mind map editor, where I can interact with a live representation of the mind map, clicking on individual branches to add new commands that would allow the AI to further develop the sub-branches. This would obviously be a premium feature and undoubtedly quite complex to implement.

Overall, the most helpful for me would be the ability to output in specific formats and possibly a graphical representation of the mind maps to get an initial overview of what the mind map entails.
