Make an extension for firefox

I know there was an extension for firefox but you gave up on it. It is unfair that people who use Firefox get punished all because they don't want a ram hungry web browser as well as privacy (both not offered by chrome). The extension gives features that you basically pay for with the subscription but you lose out on all because of the browser you use. If you won't make one then make a way that firefox users don't lose out on any features.
Firefox now uses WebExtensions API which is compatible with Chrome's extension architecture. This means you can potentially port Chrome extensions to Firefox with relatively minimal modifications.

I don't know that it is unfair, the devs are prioritizing targeting the largest possible group of users, which even the Microsoft browsert is a fork of Chromium. I understand the calculus there given developers are humans all of whom have finite amounts of time, focus & energy.
While I am adverse to do any more free work on the project, the project throws the typical error Firefox throws expecting there to be a
background.scripts
which is called something else the chrome browser variant, simple one to one maybe one person working out the 2 or 3 other API call kinks. I have done this with all sorts of chrome extensions. They both run web extensions, often even sharing in the names of the api calls as firefox isn't internet explorer trying to be painful, MDN is one of the best resources around even for any of these cross-platform browser complexities. It doesn't require several distinct experts like Linux packaging does, working with LLM technology is not easier but hey focusing on bang for buck, I don't fault you for just focusing on chrome either.

endu Hello, any update on this one? Thank you

Hi Jarrod, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I’m really sorry—that was never our intention. We initially aimed to support everyone, regardless of their browser, but the fix for Firefox was taking much longer than expected, so we had to step back.
With this new compatibility development, I’ll share this with the team and see what we can do! I’ll keep you posted here..
