Hello Merlin Team, I really have to file a complaint now because I’m starting to feel like I’m being taken for a fool. Either you are deliberately restricting and worsening the functionality for AppSumo users so severely that the deal is unusable, with all the monthly credits going unused, and also making the Bonkers feature invisible for AppSumo users. I just can’t see any other explanation for this.
I have already contacted your support multiple times to report that I get serious errors with almost every request and I am constantly ignored and left on my own with the problem. I bought the AppSumo deal because I trusted your company and you assured me that AppSumo users would be treated like full-fledged users and that our deal would be supported both long-term and sustainably.
No matter which model I use, no matter when, and no matter what the use case is—whether simple inputs or coding—almost every request either comes back in a massively worse version than with other providers like Gemini or Claude, or the connection drops mid-way, or it doesn’t even start generating at all.
Then you say you’ve already added NanoBanana—but it doesn’t show up. And today I’m reading that Flux 1 Context has been added, but it’s also not visible or is being hidden from me as an AppSumo user. My version of Bonkers hasn’t gotten any new models for probably a year and is severely outdated. Even if you say that AppSumo users have no claim to Bonkers—at least as a user, you can expect that what you paid several hundred euros for should at least be usable.
Right now, and I mean for many months, when I can’t even use my credits and can’t use any input at all, it doesn’t help me if you upload the newest models if they’re not available to me. For almost every request—even in Thinking mode—the models get stuck in an endless loop.
I want a proper response here and please don’t tell me you don’t know about the problem, since I have reported this to you multiple times already. Setting aside the massively poor performance, the tool is simply unusable. I really feel like I’m being cheated.
