Provide the option for Merlin window to appear as a side bar (a la Edge sidebar) or pop-out like in Gmail or Voila.

The current Merlin interface is huge and tends to block text. The options to minimise or open in another tab is not helpful.
The former prevents us from reading Merlin's response alongside the webpage while the latter really only works for folks who like to have multiple windows opened (and usually work on a widescreen).

As long as we don't lose the ability to access it on a separate tab. I like that I can see it full screen in a tab and not just an extension pop-up like in Voila.
