We want to reward our early users who handhold us to build this with a Yearly Team Collab Merlin for free:
- Would this feature help your team’s workflow? If yes, how?
- What would it enhance or replace in your current way of working?
- What types of tasks/ projects would you use this for?
- Any major concerns about adopting and integrating this into your workflow?

Feature Overview: How can your team benefit from it?
- Customizable Team Workspaces & Roles
Create focused spaces (e.g., “SEO Team”) and manage members with tailored roles (designer, developer), permissions, and seat allocations under “My Team”—all in one place.
- Real-Time Chat + Organized Insights
Chat instantly for quick updates, tag teammates (@mention), and use +Project Knowledge to share files/links. Track live activity in the Activity Panel and split discussions (“forking”) to dive deep without clutter.
- Centralised Knowledge Hub
Store all project files, notes, and links in a single searchable repository—no more hunting for updates.

This is excellent! My team is dispersed in the United States and the Mexican Republic, and we usually use GitHub or share our code and work plans through tools that we develop to share files (thus maintaining privacy). However, projects depend on counterparties sending files for review, testing, etc. With this new tool our waiting time will be shortened and we can collaborate in real time, and even more, we can implement ideas and reduce our time spent on meetings for reviews and brainstorming.
We could adopt this in our workflow, and we would also like it if, in addition to allowing us to save the code used as a craft, in memory, as in a file cabinet, you would also enter the version number and who made the change, this would be incredible, because we could see the changes made, test them, give credit to those who deserve it and see what flow of thought that person had (through the prompt) to create the new version.

Love it, this will help us alot to work better together in projects and to work more against the same vision with our projects.

In Finland, we have been training teams for this model for about six months. If you are creating a tool, here are some tips: 1) The tool should be able to be profiled as a work task or team specific 2) The tool should be an AI assistant with a human in the loop aspect 3) It should be possible to bring in AI agents at a later stage (i.e., perhaps rather quickly) to make the tool more efficient. This is where the process goes: Work task or team-specific AI assistant whose activities can be enhanced with AI agents

Hey Endu,
What happened to your project? It sounded really good and promising and I'd love to find out more about it and try it out.
But you don't get very far with the links, which is really a shame.

Hello endu
These are my impressions regarding this topic:
Would this feature help your team's workflow? If so, how?
Collaboration is key in project work, but too much uncategorized information can slow down workflow. A tool like the one proposed in FIGMA, with AI assistance, can categorize data, facilitating decision making and adherence to the project schedule.
What would you improve or replace in your current way of working?
It would improve access, search and categorization of information, and workflow within the project.
It would replace extensive private messaging threads, email and even make it so that trust is not abused, which sometimes happens when a team member works on a different schedule and starts posting messages about the project in these instant messaging groups, for example, after office hours. Normally, we end up archiving or muting those chats to comply with the policy of disconnecting from work, but then it takes more steps to retrieve the information. With FIGMA, you would have a shared, traceable workspace thanks to AI, it would be easy to search it, generate new information, and ultimately make it unnecessary to post work files in chats.
What types of assignments/projects would you use this for?
* Thesis development
* Research proposal development
* Collaborative academic work
* Project management
* Creative writing
Any major concerns about adopting and integrating this into your workflow?
Data privacy is crucial, especially with classified or protected information. Caution should be exercised when sharing information, given the risk of confidentiality breaches. Also, it is important to train the team to take full advantage of the tool and to see it as a space to build knowledge with AI, not just to share information.

This was my suggestion, and I’m excited to see progress on this feature! :)
To answer the questions, 1) yes, this feature would enhance workflows by enabling multiple users to engage with AI in real-time, opening up opportunities for brainstorming, problem-solving, and knowledge-sharing.
2) This would simplify workflows and replace our currently scattered tools like email threads or other chat apps. I particularly love the idea of flagging responses to be included in the knowledge hub to highlight the most important points as the chat dialogue develops.
3) As I have mentioned before, use cases could include collaborative study groups, debugging software code, legal case prep, project management and social event planning like parties. I can also see use in scriptwriting or storyboarding, investigative journalism, family dinner planning, group vacation planning and group brainstorming of meaningful gifts.
4) Other than the usual data security and privacy concerns, which I see you've addressed by the various share settings offered, another one might be the limitations imposed by the plan on the number of users who can participate collaboratively. If you can open this up to as many Merlin users as one would like to invite, it would facilitate widespread adoption.
