Please remove the animation from the plugin/MCP button. It's distracting and poor UI practice.
The same goes for the animation of the Labs button.
Also, please make the markers functional, not merely decorative – e.g., the
new
badge over the Vault icon months after this feature was added, and after the user checked the feature.
And the dot on the Labs icon, which is still there even though I've checked it.
That's not how UI is done, folks. You wouldn't accept an SMS app permanently screaming "NEW MESSAGE" when there's nothing there, right?. It's counterproductive. It teaches users to ignore your interface. The user's attention should only be drawn to an element if they should interact with it
